A semi-mechanised car park, the first of its kind in Jammu and Kashmir, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti who hoped the facility would ease traffic congestion in and around Lal Chowk. The multi-level car park, located near the old KMD bus stand on Maulana Azad Road, has been set up at a cost of Rs 27.15 crore and has a capacity to hold 288 vehicles.

Teams of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) of the United States and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) would inspect the excavation being carried out at an archaeological site in Haryana’s Fatehabad district to verify claims of it being the oldest civilisation in the world. When we create string with new() Operator, it’s created in heap and not added into string pool while String created using literal are created in String pool itself which exists in PermGen area of heap.

String s = new String("Test");

does not put the object in String pool , we need to call String.intern() method which is used to put them into String pool explicitly. its only when you create String object as String literal e.g. String s = "Test" Java automatically put that into String pool.
