Active transport is a method of transport of ions or molecules along the cell membrane in the cell from lower to higher concentration region and which needs cellular energy.

There are three main types of Active Transport. They are:

1. The Sodium-Potassium pump,
2. Exocytosis, and
3. Endocytosis.

The first Indian Budget was presented by James Wilson on 18th February, 1869.

• The White Revolution in India, also known as Operation Flood.

• It was a plan of three phases by the National Dairy Development Board to revitalise India's dairy production until India became self-sufficient in milk.

• The program was so successful that by 1998, India was the world's largest milk producer.
