To convert a fraction into decimal, just take the number on top which we called the numerator and divide it by the number at the bottom which we called the denominator.

How it comes :

$2÷3=0$ bring down the decimal point.

$20÷3=6$ and carry the remainder $2$ to make $20$

$20÷3=6$ and carry the remainder $2$ to make $20$

$20÷3=6$ and carry the remainder $2$ to make $20$

etc...

This gives the recurring decimal 0.6666...

If we round off to two decimals , then it becomes 0.67.

Hence, decimal fraction of 2/3 = 0.67.

$$\begin{gathered} Given x × y = x + y + xy \\ Here x = 6 , y = 24 \\ Then, \\ x × y = 6 + 24 + 6x24 \\ 6 x 24 = 30 + 144 \\ = 30 + 12 \\ = 42. \end{gathered}$$

Amount = Rs. (30000 + 4347) = Rs. 34347

(1+7/100)^n=34347

Suppose the two liquids A and B are 7x litres and 5x litres respectivel Now, when 9 litres of mixture are taken out,

Now, when 9 liters of liquid B are added

A : B = 100 : 90.

A : C = 100 : 72.

B:C = B/A*A/C = 90/100*100/72 = 90/72

When B runs 90 m, C runs 72 m.

When B runs 100 m, C runs (72/90*100)m = 80m

 B can give C 20 m.
