A network is a collection of computers, servers, mainframes, network devices, peripherals, or other devices connected to one another to allow the sharing of data.

An excellent example of a network is the Internet, which connects millions of people all over the world. Below is an example image of a home network with multiple computers and other network devices all connected to each other and the Internet.

Networking is defined as the act of making contact and exchanging information with other people, groups and institutions to develop mutually beneficial relationships.

The degeneration of a signal over distance on a network cable is called attenuation.

Economic resources include land, labour, capital and entrepreneurship. 

Entrepreneurship is also considered an economic resource because individuals are responsible for creating businesses and moving economic resources in the business environment.

These economic resources are also called as Factors of production.

The Sahara is the largest non-polar desert in the world. The Sahara is the largest hot desert and the third largest desert in the world after Antarctica and the Arctic.

The desert covers large sections of Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Western Sahara, Sudan and Tunisia. It covers 9 million square kilometers (3,500,000 sq mi), amounting to 31% of Africa.

Its borders include the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Red Sea to the east.

According to cell theory, Cells being formed from pure water is impossible.

Cast iron is a group of iron-carbon alloys with a carbon content greater than 2% and is a brittle material.

Its usefulness derives from its relatively low melting temperature.

Ans.  Suppose the speed of boat in still water is x km/h and speed of stream is y km/h

Speedof boat in downstream = (x + y) km/h x+ y = 32 …(i) 

Speed of boat in upstream = (x – y) km/h

x – y = 28 …(ii)

Add. Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get 2x = 60

x = 30 km/h
