Cross Contamination ::

Cross Contamination is nothing but a contamination in a cross way i.e, when a bacteria on a kitchen tool transfers to food via direct contact. Two of the most common kitchen tools usually tend to be a knife or a cutting board. However, it is not just bacteria that gets carried from one place to another — it could also be a virus also.

Cross Contamination is prevented by the following tips ::

1. Use separate equipment

2. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces

3. Remind employees to wash their hands

4. Purchase prepared food

5. Implement a personal hygiene program.

The ozone gas present in the atmosphere absorb ultraviolet radiation. It is spread as a ozone layer throughout the stratosphere.

Temperate Cyclones are cyclones of mid-latitudes and hence are primarily under influence of permanent winds of mid-latitudes i.e. westerlies. Their movement is therefore eastwards of their origin with average velocity of 32km per hour in summers and 48km per hour in winters.

Movement of Tropical CyclonesNormally, they move from east to west under the influence of trade winds because trade winds are permanent winds of tropical latitudes. The general direction is therefore westwards from their origin. They advance with varying velocities. Weak cyclones move at the speed of about 32km per hour while hurricanes attain the velocity of 180km per hour or more.
