Ascent’ means upward moment and is incorrect as per the meaning of the sentence. ‘Accent’ means to emphasize a particular feature; ‘Approof’ means trial, and ‘Assent’ means to give an expression of approval or agreement. Verses ascribed to Kabir have been compiled in three distinct but overlapping traditions.
