Now, $a_{n} = a_{1} + (n - 1) d a_{36} = 2 + (36 - 1) 3 = 105 + 2 = 107$

Now, Sum to 36 terms is given by

$S_{36} = \frac{36 (2 + 107)}{2} = \frac{36 x 109}{2} = \frac{3924}{2} = 1962$

Therefore, Sum to 36 terms of the series 2, 5, 8, 11,... is 1962.
