Non-renewable energy is that source of energy which can not be used again and again. This sort of energy is sustainable to exhaustion.

Non renewable energy is that form of energy which is subject to deletion. This type of energy is of many uses to us. It can be used to produce electricity, heating, cooking, transportation and manufacturing. 85% of the energy used in the industrial processes is form the non-renewable type of energy.

An atom is the smallest particle of a substance. Chemical substances are divided into two major groups. They are

1. Pure Substances (and)

2. Mixtures.

There are two types of pure substances that are Elements and Compounds.

Elements : An element is a substance that is made up of only one kind of atoms and cannot be broken down into simpler substances by chemical means. Metals and Non- metals come under elements.

Examples of elements are Iron, Silver, Gold, Mercury etc.

Compounds : A Compound is a substance that is formed when two or more elements combine chemically.

Examples of compounds are Water, Carbon dioxide, methane, vinegar etc.

Mixtures : A Mixture is formed when two or more substances mixed together but not chemically combined.

Example: Air.

The analogy here is like this: Veeru has 20 lt of petrol and he uses 1 lt per each day and consumes it in 20 days. If he uses 1.25 lt every day, in how many days it will be consumed?
We considered 1.25 lt here because it’s 25% more than 1 lt.

The answer would be  20/1.25=16 days.
