Southern state Karnataka has been ranked top among the states in the country in terms of manufacturing excellence, according to a study by apex industry body Assocham in 2017.

Let the required number be 'X'

Condition 1 :  

$$\begin{gathered} XX = 2X \\ => 2X2 = X \\ => X = 12 \end{gathered}$$

Condition 2 :

$$\begin{gathered} X × X = X2 \\ => X = 12 \end{gathered}$$

Therefore, 12 is the number which becomes double when it is divided by itself and becomes half when it is multiplied by itself.

Let the two digits be x & y

From given data in the question, we get

x + y = 3(x - y)

x + y = 3x - 3y

=> 2x = 4y

x/y = 2/1

For having the 2:1, numbers satisfying are

12, 21, 24, 42, 36, 63, 48, 84

From this 36 is eleminated because it is a perfect square and no others are prime or perfect squares.

Hence, there exists 7 such 2-digit numbers => 12, 21, 24, 42, 63, 48, 84.

Given,721+722+723+724

721(1 + 7 + 49 + 343)
721(400)

Now, 400 is divisible by 25. The remainder will be 0

Let the number of days be 'p' 

As the work is same, we know that

M1 x D1 x H1 = M2 x D2 x H2

Where M = Men, D = Days, H = Hours per day 

Here M1 = 9, D1 = 15, H1 = 7 

M2 = 6, D2 = p, H2 = 9 

=> 9 x 15 x 7 = 6 x p x 9 

=> p = 35/2 = 17.5 days.

First line will cut all other 14, similarly second will cut 13, and so on
Total = 14+13+12+11+10+9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1 = 105.

We have 12 months.

In every month we get 28 or more days. 

So that implies we get 28 days in each and every month.
