Rate of rice of quantity 280 kg = Rs. 15.60/kg

Rate of rice of quantity 120 kg = Rs. 14.40/kg

He want to earn a profit of Rs. 10.45/kg

Rate of Mix to sell to get profit of 10.45 =  

$$\begin{gathered} 280 x 15.60 + 120 x 14.40280 + 120 + 10.45 \\ 4368 + 1728400 + 10.45 \\ => 15.24 + 10.45 \\ = 25.69 \end{gathered}$$

Half the Product of Number in the upper & lower box gives the number in the middle box.

i.e. 18 x 4/2 = 36

15 x 6/2 = 45

In the same way 

8 x N/2 = 44 => N = 11.

Given letters are k, l, m, n, o = 5

number of letters to be in the words = 3

Total number of words that can be formed from these 5 letters taken 3 at a time without repetation of letters = 5P3 ways.

⇒ 5P3 = 5 x 4 x 3 = 60 words.

Given two lines are parallel

pa+b=2

b=-pa+2..........(1)

3a+b=4

b=-3a+4 ...........(2)

m₁ = -p

m₂= -3

The condition for the two lines to be parallel is m₁=m₂

p = 3

From the given data,

1 + 9 + 8 = 1

ONE + NINE + EIGHT

Consider the first letters and join them viz O N E = 1

So, now consider 2 + 8 + 9 in similar way

TWO+EIGHT+NINE

First letters are T E N = 10
