Let the present ages of Kapil and Avanthi be K & A

Given difference in their ages = K - A = 9 years ...........(1)

After 7 years, K + 7 =  2(A + 7) ......(2)

K + 7 = 2A + 14

K - 2A = 7 ............(3)

K - A = 9 ....(1)

From (1) & (3),

-A = -2

=> A = 2 years

=> K = 9 + 2 = 11 years

Required, age of Kapil after 4 years = 11 + 4 = 15 years.

Money lent at 9% = x
Money lent at 7% = (2600 – x)
⇒ 9x/100 + (2600 – x) X 7 /100 = 206
⇒ 9x + 18200 – 7x = 20600
⇒ 2x = 2400
⇒ x = 1200
Money lent at 7% = 2600-1200 = 1400

The Answer is 46.

Logic ::

First number on the right hand side is the second number in the left side of equation ( and ) second number on the right side is the sum of two numbers on the left side of the equation.

Hence, 2 + 4 = 4(2+4) = 46.

Given for year = 70000

=> 365 days = 70000

=> 365 x 24 hours = 70000

=>   1 hour = ?

70000/365x24 = 7.990 = 8
