To find the LCM of 24, 36 and 40

24 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3

36 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3

40 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 

Now, LCM of 24, 36 and 40 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 5

= 8 x 9 x 5

= 72 x 5

= 360
