Ratio of profit of Rohith and Puneeth = 3600 x 12 : 2400 x P

= 3600 x 12/2400P = 2/1

=> P = 9

So, Puneeth joined the business after (12 - P) = 12 - 9 = 3 months.

Let Shilpa's present age is p years

According to question,

p = 4(x+4) – 4(x–4)

p = 4x+16 – 4x+16

p = 32

Shilpa's present age = 32 years

Rajeev is four years older than Shilpa

=> Shilpa's present age = Rajeev's age 4 years before.

=> Rajeev's age 4 years before = 32 years.

As the interest rate increases by 2%
=> (7000x3x2)/100 = 420

Then, the selling price of 1 article = 22/18 = 11/9

The logic in the given puzzle is 

Addition of numeric values of corresponding letters in the first three figures gives respective corresponding letter in fourth figure.
