Let the two digits be x & y

From given data in the question, we get

x + y = 3(x - y)

x + y = 3x - 3y

=> 2x = 4y

x/y = 2/1

For having the 2:1, numbers satisfying are

12, 21, 24, 42, 36, 63, 48, 84

From this 36 is eleminated because it is a perfect square and no others are prime or perfect squares.

Hence, there exists 7 such 2-digit numbers => 12, 21, 24, 42, 63, 48, 84.

IP address is currently 4 bytes long. An IP address is written in "dotted decimal" notation, which is 4 sets of numbers separated by period each set representing 8-bit number ranging from (0-255).

Given that train K crosses a pole in 30 seconds and train L crosses the same pole in one minute and 15 seconds.

Let the length of train K be Lk and that of train L be Ll

given that Lk = 3/4 Ll

As the train K and L crosses the pole in 30 seconds and 80 seconds respectively,
=> Speed of train K = sk = Lk/30

Speed of train L = sl = Ll/80

Lk = 3/4 Ll
=> sk = 3/4 Ll/(30) = Ll/40

Ratio of their speeds = sk : sl
= Ll/40 : Ll/80

=> 1/40 : 1/80  =  2 : 1

We know that, in solids all the particles are packed together and hence sound can travel from one to one very fast.

Hence, speed of sound is maximum in solids and decreses from solids to liquids and liquids to gases. Sound can't travel through vaccum.

Given digits are 0, 4, 2, 6

Required 4 digit number should be greater than 6000.

So, first digit must be 6 only and the remaining three places can be filled by one of all the four digits.

This can be done by

1x4x4x4 = 64

Greater than 6000 means 6000 should not be there.

Hence, 64 - 1 = 63.

Let the required number be 'X'

Condition 1 :  

$$\begin{gathered} XX = 2X \\ => 2X2 = X \\ => X = 12 \end{gathered}$$

Condition 2 :

$$\begin{gathered} X × X = X2 \\ => X = 12 \end{gathered}$$

Therefore, 12 is the number which becomes double when it is divided by itself and becomes half when it is multiplied by itself.
