Michel earns Rs. 135 by investing Rs. 1620
To earn Rs. 8 how much he have to invest...?

= (8 x 1620)/135 = Rs. 96

ST candidates vacancies can be filled by C35 ways = 10 

Remaining vacancies are 5 that are to be filled by 12 

=> C512= (12x11x10x9x8)/(5x4x3x2x1) = 792 

Total number of filling the vacancies = 10 x 792 = 7920

Let the cost price of the article be 'P'

Then from given data,

$$\begin{gathered} P + 28P100 = 4544 \\ => 128P = 454400 \\ => P = 3550 \end{gathered}$$

Hence, the cost price of the article = P = Rs. 3550

Amount of work K can do in 1 day = 1/16

Amount of work L can do in 1 day = 1/12

Amount of work K, L and M can together do in 1 day = 1/4

Amount of work M can do in 1 day = 1/4 - (1/16 + 1/12) = 3/16 – 1/12 = 5/48

=> Hence M can do the job on 48/5 days = 9 (3/5) days
