The given number series follows a pattern that, 4, 15, 37, 81, ?

4 + 11 = 15

15 + 22 = 37

37 + 44 = 81

81 + 88 = 169

Hence, the next number in the sequence is 169.

Common Ratio r = 2/4 = 1/2 = 0.5/1 = 0.25/0.5 = 0.125/0.25 == 0.5.

Here the number which is to be replaced in ? is

41310+15=41325.

we can do this by trial and error method.

Putting x = 2,we get 2²(2² - 1) = 12.
checking with other integers, the above equation always gives a value which is a multiple of 12,
