This is one type of Letter Equations which are well known phrases or facts where the key words have been replaced with the first letter of that word. These are often in the form of an equation, which contain a number, an = sign and the rest of the obscured phrase or fact.

We know that 40% = 25

40% of 265 + 35% of 180 = 50% ?

25 x 265 + 35% of 180 = 50% ?

We know that (35% of 180 = 180% of 35) & 180% = 95

Hydrogen gas is used for making vegetables and vanaspathi from vegetable oils.

As it is colourless, odourless, tasteless, flammable gaseous substance, it is added to oils to make them more solid or spreadable.

=> q-4q/6 = p/4

We know that Time is inversely proportional to Efficiency

Here given time ratio of P & P+Q as

P/P+Q = 150/100 = 3:2
