The power source such as a Battery of an IED creates an electrical charge.

What are IED's ::

An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) is a bomb constructed and deployed in ways other than in conventional military action. It may be constructed of conventional military explosives, such as an artillery shell, attached to a detonating mechanism. IEDs are commonly used as roadside bombs.

Let the number be n. Then,

50% of n - 35% of n = 24

50/100 n - 35/100 n = 24

n = (24 x 100)/15 = 160.

Given X can do in 10 days 

=> 1 day work of X = 1/10

Y can do in 15 days 

=> 1 day work of Y = 1/15

1day work of (X + Y) = 1/10 + 1/15 = 1/6

Given they are hired for 5 days

 => 5 days work of (X + Y) = 5 x 1/6 = 5/6

 Therefore, Unfinished work = 1 - 5/6 = 1/6

While flying from Engine to end, relative speed = (x+10) m/sec
from end to engine, flying speed = (2x - 10) mtr/sec
so

solving it, we get
