A metaphor is a figure of speech that is used to make a comparison between two things that aren't alike but do have something in common.

In all the given options we have Metaphors.

Here the given series 7  18  42  94  204 follows a pattern that,

7 ×2+4 = 18

18 ×2+6 = 42

42 ×2+10 = 94

94 ×2+16 = 204

Similarly,

4 ×2+4 = 12

12 ×2+6 = 30

30 ×2+10 = 70

70 ×2+16 = 156

Hence, the value of P = 156.

A restrictive clause is one that limits the meaning of the word it describes.

For example :: 

The girl who lives next door is beautiful.

This restrictive clause limits "the girl" to say it's specifically the one next door.

The Aufbau Principle states that in the ground state of an atom, an electron enters the orbital with lowest energy first and subsequent electrons are fed in the order of increasing energies.

and that of 1 girl be g

From the given data,

4(5b + 3g) = 23

20b + 12g = 23 .......(a)

2(3b + 2g) = 7

6b + 4g = 7 ........(b)

Solving (a) & (b), we get

b = 1, g = 1/4

Let number og girls required be 'p'

6(7 x 1 + p x 1/4) = 45

=> p = 2.

Hence, number of girls required = 2

Let the number of girls = x

=> x + x + 4 = 12

=> 2x = 8

=> x = 4

=> Number of girls = 4

=> Number of boys = 4 + 4 = 8

Time taken by A to complete a work alone - 24 days
Time taken by A in completing 1/3 of work = 24*1/3= 8 Days
8 day = time taken by B in completing 1/2 of work
B alone can complete the work = 16 days
The required time in completing the work if both A & B start working together?
16*24 / 40 = 48/5 Days
