Jean Piaget was a cognitive psychologist who identified four stages of development: the sensorimotor stage from birth to 2 years, the preoperational stage from age 2 to age 7, the concrete operational stage from age 7 to 11, and the formal operational stage from age 11 to adult. He identified milestones that occur at each stage.

According to Piaget, the main task of the sensorimotor stage is for the child to learn the concept of object permanence, use senses and motor skills to understand the world.

Tetraethyl lead is a highly toxic compound used as a gasoline additive.

Tetraethyl lead abbreviated as TEL, is an organo lead compound with the formula (CH₃CH₂)₄Pb. It is a petro-fuel additive which in turn caused increased vehicle performance. This is also used as an antiknock agent in gasoline and jet fuels. Tetraethyl lead is absorbed rapidly by the skin, the lungs, and the gastrointestinal tract. It is converted to triethyl lead, which might be responsible for its toxicity.

The TATA Projects has launched unique “Green Thumb” initiative in India to promote green cover and to protect the environment on 2017 World Environment Day (WED). The Green Thumb 2017 is in continuation to 2016 TATA Projects’ programme wherein it aimed to get 10,000 people to click (pledge) to plant a sapling on their behalf – the response received was a tremendous 23,000. Encouraged by the response, TATA Projects planted a total of over 42,000 saplings across the country in over 100 locations in the last one year (2016-17).
