May Day or Labor Day is celebrated across the world on 1st May every year to mark the eight-hour day labor movement advocated 8 hrs of work, 8 hrs for recreation and 8 hrs for rest. In India, labor day was celebrated on Chennai's Marina Beach in 1923 by Labour Kisan P:arty of Hindustan.

It is a public holiday where no one goes to work.

Explanation: The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank (MDB) conceived for the 21st century. Public Interest Litigation is directly filed by an individual or group of people in the Supreme Court of India and High Courts and judicial member.  This petition is accepted by the court only if there is interest of large public involved. Generally this petition is filed by a public spirited person or organisation, if it was felt that certain interests are undermined by the government.
