Ganesh Vasudev Mavalankar popularly known as Dadasaheb was an independence activist, the President of the Central Legislative Assembly, then Speaker of the Constituent Assembly of India, and later the first Speaker of the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India.

The upper house of the parliament is the Rajya Sabha and is a permanent body.

Though this is essentially a Committee of the House of the people (Having 15 members from that house), by an agreement between the two houses, 7 members from the other Houses are also associated with this committee, in order to strengthen it.

A change to the Constitution is called as An Amendment.

An Amendment ::

An Amendment is ratified after two-thirds of the House and Senate approve of the proposal and send it to the states for a vote. That Convention can propose as many amendments as it deems necessary. Then, three-fourths of the states must affirm the proposed Amendment.
