A reflection.

The blood of some invertebrate animals like the earthworm is red due to haemoglobin pigment, but the pigment is dissolved in the plasma. In vertebrates the same pigment is found in the red corpuscles and not in the plasma.

Throughput : number of processes that complete their execution per time unit.

Turnaround time : amount of time to execute a particular process.

Waiting time : amount of time a process has been waiting in the ready queue.

Response time : amount of time it takes from when a request was submitted until the firstresponse is produced, not output (for time-sharing environment).

The prostate gland is a walnut-sized structure that is located below the urinary bladder in front of the rectum. The prostate gland contributes additional fluid to the ejaculate. Prostate fluids also help to nourish the sperm. The urethra, which carries the ejaculate to be expelled during orgasm, runs through the center of the prostate gland.

When you compress or stretch a spring, as soon as the stress is relieved, the spring attains its normal shape instantly. Its Elastic potential energy helps it do so. Generally, these elastic substances follow the Hooke’s law.

According to this Law, the force needed to change the shape of spring is proportional to the displacement of the spring. The displacement referred here is how far the spring is compressed or stretched from its normal shape. Mathematically, Hook’s Law can be summarised as F= – k x. Here ‘k’ is the spring constant and ‘x’ is the displacement.
