Genes: The DNA is the genetic material. The DNA is made of several nucleotides. A nucleotide means, one nitrogenous base one sugar molecule and a phosphate molecule. These Nucleotides occur in sequences and several nucleotides form one gene ( a functional gene is called a cistron)

The small intestine is the main area of the GI tract for absorption.

The small intestine has three separate sections. Theyare :

1. The duodenum

2. Jejunum and

3. Ileum.

Hence, the majority of nutrient absorption occurs in the duodenum and jejunum of small intestine.

Phencyclidine (PCP) is a drug used for its mind-altering effects. It is also known as Angel dust. As a recreational drug, it is typically smoked, but may be taken by mouth, snorted, or injected. It may also be mixed with cannabis or tobacco.

Causes and Effects ::

* PCP may cause hallucinations, distorted perceptions of sounds, and violent behavior.

* Its effects include seizures, coma, addiction, and an increased risk of suicide.

Mass wasting, also known as slope movement or mass movement, is the geomorphic process by which soil, sand, regolith, and rock move downslope typically as a solid, continuous or discontinuous mass, largely under the force of gravity, but frequently with characteristics of a flow as in debris flows and mudflows.

Government can be classified in three manners:

(1) who participates,

(2) geographic distribution of power, and

(3) legislative/executive relationship.

Who can participate is generally broken down into two forms of government,

democracy or dictatorship

While the legislative/executive relationship is broken down into

presidential or parliamentary

The geographic distribution of power is broken down into unitary, federal, and confederation (confederal).

Confederal System of Government ::

A system of government where power is located with the independent states and there is little power in the central government.

Today, no nation follows a confederal system. Organizations, like the European Union and the Commonwealth of Independent States, are based on the ideas of a confederal system. Several nations make up these organizations, but they still retain the majority of their independence.
