An adverb is a word that modifies a verb, adjective, determiner, clause, preposition, or sentence.

Adverbs can modify all of the following except nouns.

Error occurs because we have mixed the ANSI prototype with K & R style of function definition.

When we use ANSI prototype for a function and pass a float to the function it is promoted to a double. When the function accepts this double into a float a type mismatch occurs hence the error.

The remedy for this error could be to define the function as :

Procedural agreements – They usually deal with the relationship between employees and employers to resolve individual and group issues. These are usually filed in the company’s rule book. 

Substantive agreements – This kind of an agreement deals with specific issues like basic pay, leave policy, bonus payment etc.
