Goitre is characterized by the swelling of the neck region. This is due to the enlargement of the thyroid gland which secretes hormone thyroxine. Thyroxine has iodine as an integral part of it. If there is not sufficient iodine in one's  diet, the thyroid gland swells up.

When a program forks and the child finishes before the parent, the kernel still keeps some of its information about the child in case the parent might need it – for example, the parent may need to check the child’s exit status. The area in which two types of air masses meet is called Front. There are two types of fronts. They are 

1) Cold front

2) Warm front

When a cold air mass pushes a warm air mass, it is called as Cold front. Similarly, when a warm air mass pushes the cold air mass, it is called as warm front.
