- To protect the interest of employees and employers by building up a congenial relationship. 

- To avoid the human conflicts which can harm the business, the employees and the economic growth of the country.

- To increase the productivity. 

- To improve the economic conditions of the workers

- To reduce the number of industrial disputes like strikes, lock outs etc.

A hard real-time system guarantees that critical tasks complete on time. A soft real time system where a critical real-time task gets priority over other tasks and retains that priority until it completes. As in hard real time systems kernel delays need to be bounded
