The air around us is a mixture of gases, mainly nitrogen and oxygen, but containing much smaller amounts of water and other gases.

Earth's atmosphere is composed of many gases. Their percentages by volume is given by::

 
78% Nitrogen,

21% Oxygen,

0.9% Argon, and

0.03% Carbon dioxide 

And very small percentages of other elements.

The nutrients that provide energy are carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins. The other three nutrients--vitamins, minerals, and water do not provide energy.

Materials that usually allow electricity to pass through them are called Good conductors of electricity.

Conductors conduct electrical current very easily because of their free electrons.

Examples are :: Aluminium, Gold, Copper, Silver

Materials that do not allow or oppose electrical current & make poor conductors are called Insulators.
