We know that, Elements in the same group of the periodic table have similar characteristics.

Here Magnesium and Strontium shared some similar properties because they both belong to the same group. Sr is the chemical symbol for strontium which is a group two element; it has atomic number of 38.

What is Gol Gumbaz ::

1. It is the tomb of Mohammed Adil Shah. This is the most famous monument in Bijapur. 

2. It is the largest dome ever built in India.

3. A particular attraction in this monument is the central chamber, where every sound is echoed seven times.

4. Another attraction at the Gol Gumbaz is the Whispering Gallery, where even minute sounds can be heard clearly 37 metres away.

Dr. Gullapalli N. Rao, the founder and chair of the LV Prasad Eye Institute (Hyderabad), has been selected to the 2017 Ophthalmology Hall of Fame instituted by the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS). He will be honoured at the induction ceremony in Los Angeles on May 6, 2017 at the annual meeting of the ASCRS.

Currently, Rao is the President of the prestigious Academia Ophthalmologica International (AOI), a group of 80 eminent academicians in ophthalmology in the world and is a past Chair of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB).
