Ajanta paintings depict scenes from the Jataka Tales. The Jataka tales are a voluminous body of literature native to India. The stories in that are associated with previous births of Gautama Buddha in both human and animal form.

Mausinram (Meghalaya)

The Periyar Sanctuary covers an area of 777sq km. It was established in 1949. Elephants , Gaurs, leopards, solth bear, sambhars, barking deer, wild dogs, wild boars, black Nilgiri langur and water birds can be seen in this sanctuary.

A nutrient is a substance used by an organism to survive, grow, and reproduce. These are compounds in foods essential to life and health, providing us with energy.

There are two types of nutrients:

1. Organic Nutrients
2. Inorganic Nutrients

Carbohydrates (CHO), Lipids (fats), Proteins and Vitamins come under organic nutrients as they contain carbon. These can add fat to the body.

Minerals and Water come under inorganic nutrients as they lack in carbon. These cannot add fat to the body.
