Mass means the amount of matter in an object. Anything that has Mass and takes up Space is called Matter.

The Study of Matter and and how matter changes is called Chemistry.

Matter has some mass and occupies some space. Space occupied by an object is called its Volume.

India has been unanimously elected as the President of the UN-Habitat. UN-Habitat, an organ of the United Nations’ Organisation (UNO) reports to the United Nations General Assembly. UN-Habitat  promotes socially and environmentally sustainable human settlements across the world. India has been elected as the President of UN-Habitat after a gap of 10 years. This is only the third time that India has been elected as the President of UN-Habitat after 2007 and 1988. The UN-Habitat was established in 1978.

Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cells do share a feature of DNA.

Both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells have structures in common.

All cells have a plasma membrane, ribosomes, cytoplasm, and DNA.

Prokaryotic cells are primitive cells which have no true nucleus and membrane bound organelles, while Eukaryotic cells are cells that have true nucleus, membrane bound organelles and well defined structures and layouts.

1. The National Green Tribunal banned the use of ‘Chinese’ kite strings, made of nylon or any synthetic material on the grounds that it poses threat to life and environment.

2. The Tribunal directed all state governments to prohibit the “manufacture, sale, storage, purchase and use” of synthetic manja or nylon threads and all other synthetic strings used for flying kites with immediate effect.

3. A bench headed by NGT Chairperson Justice Swatanter Kumar ordered the authorities to ban import of any synthetic manja.
