India was re-elected as member of executive board of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Executive board is UNESCO's top decision-making body. The election was held at 39th session of General Conference of UNESCO in Paris, France. 

UNESCO is UN association that helps safeguard historical and cultural sites around the world. It is special multi-nation organization, framed in 1945 and situated in France. It promotes literacy and sex education as well as improving gender equality in countries around world. The General Conference determines policies and main lines of work of organisation. Its duty is to set programmes and budget of UNESCO. It also elects members of executive board and appoints, every four years, director-general.

a.) Quality Assurance

Quality assurance is an activity that establishes and evaluates the processes that produce products. Quality assurance would measure processes to identify weaknesses and then correct them to continually improve the process: Eg. Code review.

b.) Quality Control

Quality control is a process in which the product's quality is compared with standards and corrective actions taken if required. Quality control activities focus on identifying defects in the actual products produced. Eg. Testing.

c.) Test Case

A test case is a unit level document describing the inputs, steps of execution and the expected result of each test condition for every requirement from the BRD. Testers determine whether the application is working correctly or not based on the test case that is being executed. A test case is marked as "Pass" if the application works as expected and is marked as "Fail" if otherwise. Test cases also aide in generating test status metrics.

d.) Test Condition

Test condition is the condition on which the test execution evaluates to pass or fail. Eg of a test condition: Set Password field should accept a mix of Alphanumeric and Special characters on mandatory basis and throw error message otherwise.

e.) Test Script

Test script is the set of instructions performed on the application to verify its functions.

f.) Test Data

Test data is the input data used to test a particular functionality. Eg: Username and password to test a login screen.

g.) Test Bed

Test bed is the environment on which the testing is done and includes the software and hardware set up that is required for testing the application.

It is a useful, memory-saving technique for multiprogrammed timesharing systems. A Reentrant Procedure is one in which multiple users can share a single copy of a program during the same period. Reentrancy has 2 key aspects: The program code cannot modify itself, and the local data for each user process must be stored separately. Thus, the permanent part is the code, and the temporary part is the pointer back to the calling program and local variables used by that program. Each execution instance is called activation. It executes the code in the permanent part, but has its own copy of local variables/parameters. The temporary part associated with each activation is the activation record. Generally, the activation record is kept on the stack.

Note: A reentrant procedure can be interrupted and called by an interrupting program, and still execute correctly on returning to the procedure.

FDA, protects the U.S. public from abuses and poor quality products from industries related to food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, tobacco, dietary supplements, and even veterinary products.

Hence, the FDA is suppose to protect the public from harmful prescription and OTC (over the counter) medications.

There are two types of sociological theories:

1. Macro and

2. Micro.

Macro theories focus on the society as a whole and aim at establishing the general characteristics of the society. It is basically looking at the society as a whole and looking at a bigger picture. It aims to answer three basic questions:

1) What holds the societies together?

2) What are the sources of conflict in a society?

3) How do societies change?

There are two branches of macro-sociological theories: consensus and conflict, with the main representative being functionalist and marxist respectively.

Micro theories on the other hand, focus on the individuals who make up the society unlike macro theory which looks at the society as a whole. Micro theories are small scale. Consider it a magnifying glass, when you look through it, you 'zoom' in to the society and see the individuals who have made up that particular society.

Symbolic interactionism is the sociological perspective which is most closely linked to microsociology.

Energy tranfer takes place either by means of Heat or Work only in Thermodynamics.

Heat :: Heat Energy is defined as Energy that can be transferred due to temperature change.

Whereas

Thermal Energy :: Thermal Energy is the Internal Energy stored in the system maintained at a certain Temperature.

In physics, the dynamo theory proposes a mechanism by which a celestial body such as Earth or a star generates a magnetic field.

Earth's crust core contains a large amount of iron and nickel is the evidence of the dynamo theory.
