The shadow zone is the area of the earth from angular distances of 104 to 140 degrees from a given earthquake that does not receive any direct P waves. The shadow zone results from S waves being stopped entirely by the liquid core and P waves being bent (refracted) by the liquid core.

There are two types of Shadow zones:

one for P waves and

one for S waves.

P wave shadows between 104-140 degree, both sides; S wave shadow from 105 of one side to 105 of the other.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has unveiled the logo and mascot of the 22nd Asian Athletics Championships scheduled to be held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar from July 6 to 9, 2017.

 Mr. Patnaik also formally announced Bhubaneswar as the host for the sports event. The mascot, named Olly Turtle, depicts the Olive Ridley turtles.

The two main components of air are nitrogen and oxygen. They are seperated by the fractional distillation of liquid air. Liquefied air contains liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen. Liquid nitrogen with the lower boiling point more readily evaporates than the less volatile liquid oxygen. 

The title of Father of the Nation was given to Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi known as Mahathma Gandhi by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

He was the first who addressed Mahatma Gandhi as Father of the Nation on Singapore Radio on July 6, 1944.
