SQL Server is having a fantastic feature to retrieve data persisted in the form of XML format. The data in the XML format can be retrieved using FOR XML clause appending to the SELECT statement.

It offers 3 modes.

- “FOR XML AUTO": Returns XML elements that are nested, based on which tables are listed in the "from" part of the query, and which fields are listed in the "select" part.

- "FOR XML RAW": Returns XML elements with the "row" prefix (ex: ""). Each column in a table is represented as an attribute and null column values aren't included.

- "FOR XML EXPLICIT": Explicit mode is the most complex shaping method used in SQL Server 2000. It allows users to query a data source in such a way that the names and values of the returned XML are specified before the query batch is executed. 

- SVG is the abbreviation for Scalable Vector Graphics and is recommended by W3C. 

- It is used to define vector-based graphics for the Web

- The graphics are defined in XML format

-An important quality of SVG graphics is that their quality is maintained even when they are zoomed or resized. 

- All the element and attributes of SVG files can be animated

JavaScripts uses a hierarchical structure that applies to the objects in a document. There are some objects that show the relationship of one object to another using the language.

Window object: This is the topmost object in the hierarchy. It represent the content area of browser window that consists of HTML documents. Each frame is also a window that has some actions inside it.

Document object: This object gets loaded in a window and consists of objects of different kind in the model. It consists of the content that will be written in the script.

Form object: Form objects are used for more interaction with the users. It represents the form elements inside <FORM>...</FORM> tag.

With HTML5, it is possible for the web pages to store the data locally in the user's browser. This web storage is much faster and secured than the cookies. Also, a larger amount of data can be stored without causing any adverse effect to the performance of the website. 

The data here is not included with every server request. It is used ONLY when it is asked for. It is only that particular web page that can access the data stored by itself.

- Infinite file consists of random bits of code that is stored in /dev/random file used to generate the cryptographic keys. 

- Infinite file consists of the source of infinite data that can be used to provide the response in easy manner. 

- Web server consists of the file that is received by the server in this format GET //dev/random HTTP/1.0. 

- Web server provides the continuous data that can be read from /dev/random/ before the web server can run out of the memory. 

- The server crashes out in case it runs out of the memory due to the infinite file type and it is very essential in case of the web security.

XML, Extensible Markup Language, is an open, text based markup language that provides structural and semantic information to data. XML is a metalanguage that can be used to create other language. It is used to structure and describe data that can be understood by other applications. Using XML, we can separate the user interface from data.

Features of XML :

- XML is a generalized markup language that means one can define his/her own tag sets.

- A valid XML document contains rules and is self-describing.

- The rules that are found in DTD allow the documents to be validated.
