The PIN code system was introduced on 15 th August 1972 by Shriram Bhikaji Velankar. Currently India has six digit post code and soon it will be converted in eight digits.

Telecom Secretary J S Deepak was on Wednesday named India’s next Ambassador to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) from June this year. Thiruvananthapuram, capital of Kerala has topped in city governance ranking of the Annual Survey of India’s City Systems (ASICS) 2016 conducted by Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy.
