6 April was declared as the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP) by the UN General Assembly. On the occasion of the 2017 International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP), the United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace (UNOSDP) launches the digital campaign #WePlayTogether to encourage organizations and individuals.

A nitrogenous base, or nitrogen-containing base, is an organic molecule with a nitrogen atom that has the chemical properties of a base. The main biological function of a nitrogenous base is to bond nucleic acids together. A nitrogenous base owes its basic properties to the lone pair of electrons of a nitrogen atom.

In DNA, four bases have been found. They are

1. Adenine (A),

2. Guanine (G),

3. Cytosine (C) and

4. Thymine (T).

The first three of these bases are found in RNA also but the fourth which is Uracil (U) is absent in it.

RNA contains cytosine and uracil as pyrimidine bases while DNA has cytosine and thymine.

Fear of places and situations that might cause panic, helplessness or embarrassment is called Agoraphobia. 

Fear of crossing road causes some panic in them and comes under Agoraphobia.

The World Health Organization is a specialized agency of the United Nations that is concerned with international public health. It was established on 7 April 1948, Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

Dr Soumya Swaminathan has been appointed the deputy director general for programmes (DDP) of World Health Organisation (WHO). She also holds a key position as secretary in the department of health research, ministry of health and family welfare.

Padmalaya Nanda from Odisha will represent India at the 2017 Little Miss Universe beauty pageant competition, which is scheduled to be held in Georgia, United States from May 31. She will compete against 15 other contestants from around the world for the title of Little Miss Universe. Beside this, she will also lead India in the 2017 Little Miss World contest in Greece.
