 It is a strange sequence. Each number describes the resemblance of the previous one, except the first one.

11 describes the previous '1' which contains one '1'

21 describes the previous '11' which contains two '1'

1211 describes the previous '21' which contains one '2' and one '1'

111221 describes the previous '1211' which contains one '1', one '2' and two '1'.

So the next sequence will be 312211, that is the previous '111221' contains three '1', two '2' and one '1'.

In the given puzzle, the logic is

2 + 3 = 10 => (2 + 3) * 2 = 10

6 + 3 = 54 => (6 + 3) * 6 = 54

8 + 3 = 88 =>  (8 + 3) * 8 = 88

Similarly,

9 + 7  => (9 + 7) * 9 = 16 x 9 = 144.

Starting with the 10 at the top, one set of numbers increases by 3 each time, written in alternate boxes as you move down the diagram, and the other set of numbers decreases by 2,written in the boxes remaining

Given that, a woman has seven children. Half of them are boys. 

Half of 7 is 3.5 which is not possible. And it is possible in only one way that all the children must be boys. Then half of them are boys.

First, Dr.Will wear both of the gloves, one above the other. He operate the first person. After finishing he remove the outer pair of gloves as inside out and place it in a tray. Then operate the second person. Now he will wear the first gloves as inside out above the second gloves. Operate the third person. At last he remove the gloves and dispose them.

Working in columns, the sum of the numbers in each column is always 14

- Send the box with the lock to Alex. 

- Alex can't open it, but can put another lock on the box. 

- Alex sends this box with the 2 locks back to you, you unlock your lock and send it back to Alex again.

- So there is just Alex's lock on the box and Alex can now open it.
