Odd days in 2000 years = 0

10 years has 2 leap years + 8 ordinary years.

Number of odd days in 10 years ( 2 x 2 + 8) = 5 odd days.

Total number of odd days = (0 + 5 + 1) = 6.

Let the number be 'x'.

=> x = 22.

Speed of train relative to jogger = 45 - 9 = 36 km/hr.
= 36 x 5/18 = 10 m/sec.

Distance to be covered = 260 + 140 = 400 m.

Time taken = 400/10 = 40 sec.

All the boxes contain distinct number of chocolates.
For each combination of 4 out of 8 boxes, the box with the greatest number has to be given to the first person, the box with the second highest to the second person and so on.
