The hands of a clock point in opposite directions (in the same straight line) 11 times in every
12 hours. (Because between 5 and 7 they point in opposite directions at 6 o'clcok only).
So, in a day, the hands point in the opposite directions 22 times

It takes four of those little squares -- each one 1/2 inch on a side -- to cover one square inch. That's because each one is 1/2 x 1/2, or 1/4 of a square inch.
In a rectangle that is 48 inches by 48 inches, there are 2304 square inches.(1 ft = 12 inches)
Since it takes 4 little squares to cover 1 sq inch, then it would need 2304 x 4 squares (1/2 inch on a side each) to cover a rectangle 4 feet by 4 feet.

That is 9,216 of those squares.

Given Prabhas is twice as good a workman as Rana.

Prabhas finishes the work in 3 hrs

=> Rana finishes the work in 6 hrs.

Number of hours required together they could finish the work

= 3 x 6 / 3 + 6

= 18/9

= 2 hrs.

Given 0.875 and 0.375

0.875 ::

After decimal point there are 3 digits 875

Now, mutiply and divide 0.875 with 1000

Similarly,

$$\begin{gathered} 0.375 x 10001000 = 3751000 \\ Now, this can be reduced to fraction 38 \\ Therefore, 0.375 as fraction = 38 \end{gathered}$$

Given digits are 0, 4, 2, 6

Required 4 digit number should be greater than 6000.

So, first digit must be 6 only and the remaining three places can be filled by one of all the four digits.

This can be done by

1x4x4x4 = 64

Greater than 6000 means 6000 should not be there.

Hence, 64 - 1 = 63.
