In the given puzzle the logic is

2 x 1 + 1 = 2 + 1 = 3

3 x 2 + 2 = 6 + 2 = 8

4 x 3 + 3 = 12 + 3 = 15

5 x 4 + 4 = 20 + 4 = 24

6 x 5 + 5 = 30 + 5 = 35

Similarly,

7 x 6 + 6 = 42 + 6 = 48

7 = 48.

Tota profit percentage = (119 x 100/85) - 100 = 3400/85 = 40% 

As given equal amounts of alloys are melted, let it be 1 kg.

Required ratio of gold and silver = 513 + 58813 + 38 = 105103.

Hence, ratio of gold and silver in the resulting alloy = 105/103.
