Here in the given puzzle,

2 x (2 + 2) = 8

3 x (3 + 3) = 18

4 x (4 + 4) = 32

5 x (5 + 5) = 50

Similarly,

6 x (6 + 6) = 72.

The value of 4 in 475 means the place value of 4 in 475 and not its face value. Face value means the digit itself though it is at any place in the given number. But place value means the value of digit in its place in the given number.

Here the place value of 4 in 475 can be determined by as 4 is in 100's place in 475.

Hence, the place value of 4 in 475 is 4x100 = 400.

Let first part is 'K' and second part is 'L'
then K + L = 50000---------eq1
Total profit = profit on x + profit on y
7000 = (K x 10 x 1)/100 + (L x 20 x 1)/100
70000 = K + 2L-----------------------------------eq2
70000 = 50000 + L
so L = 20000 then K = 50000 - 20000 = 30000

100% = 16.5 x 100/15 = 110

Q = 50% of 110 = 55
R = 60% of 110 = 60 x 110/100 = 66
M = 12.5 + 49.5 = 62 or 66 - 4 = 62

Addition of numeric values of corresponding letters in the first three figures gives respective corresponding letter in fourth figure.

Similarly, L = 12, K = 11 , A = 1 => 1 + 11 + 12 = 24 = 'X'

Here the missing letter is 'X'.
