Two series alternate here, with every third number following a different pattern.
In the main series, 4 is added to each number to arrive the next.
In alternate series, 5 is subtracted from each number t arrive the next number.
Here in the main series
3 + 4 = 7
7 + 4 = 11
11 + 4 = 15
15 + 4 = 19

In alternate series
24 - 5 = 19
19 - 5 = 14...

Given series follows the rule of

1050/2.5 = 420
420/2.5 = 168
168/2.5 = 67.2
so 67.2/2.5 = 26.88

Here Grass is to Erosion and whereas Dam is to Water.

Since Grass prevents Erosion similarly Dam prevents Water flow.

Hence, Grass : Erosion :: Dam : Water.

The given series 24.3, 23.1, 20.7, 17.1, 12.4 follows a pattern that

24.3 - 1.2 = 23.1

23.1 - 2.4 = 20.7

20.7 - 3.6 = 17.1

17.1 - 4.8 = 12.3 not 12.4

Hence, the odd man or odd number in the given series is 12.4

Two sub groups of Himalayan Rivers are Trans Himalayan Rivers and Himalayan Rivers.

• Trans Himalayan Rivers :

These rivers originate beyond the Himalayas. They are The Indus, The Sutlej and The Brahmaputra Rivers.

• Himalayan Rivers :

These are the rivers originate from Himalayas. They are The Ganga, The Yamuna and their tributaries.

I.  (a - 3)(a - 4) = 0

=> a = 3, 4

II.   (b - 2)(b - 1) = 0

=> b = 1, 2

=> a > b

From statement B, 

As the value of L = 0, the value of KL = 0.

Hence only statement B is sufficient.
