World Purple Day is observed on 26 March which raises awareness about epilepsy worldwide.

Every year on 24th October, United Nations Day is celebrated to commemorate the day of United Nations formation. 

The United Nations is an intergovernmental organization that was tasked to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations, achieve international co-operation and be a centre for harmonizing the actions of nations. I was started on 24 October 1945.

World Hello Day is observed annually on 21st November to hope the conflicts must be settled by only conversations rather than use of force.

The International Day of Democracy is observed every year on September 15 to highlight the values of freedom and respect for human rights as essential elements of democracy.

The theme of the 2018 International Day of Democracy is "Democracy under Strain : Solutions for a changing world".

The National Statistics Day (NSD) is celebrated every year in India on 29th June to create public awareness about importance of statistics in socio-economic planning and
policy formulation.
