One of the most important result of the French Revolution was that Political power shifted to the bourgeoisie (Middle class people).

The Great French Revolution of 1789 not only overthrew the monarchy in France, but ultimately led to the destruction of the Old Order across Europe.

Prior to the French Revolution, the bourgeoisie or middle class, belonged to the Third Estate, which had the largest tax burden and virtually no rights.

The bourgeoisie gained an enormous amount of political power when the National Assembly issued the Declaration of the Rights of Man, and drafted a new constitution for France.

The caste system in India divides Hindus into four main categories - Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and the Shudras. The main castes were further divided into about 3,000 castes and 25,000 sub-castes, each based on their specific occupation.

Lala Lajpat Rai, popularly known as Punjab Kesari was an Indian Freedom Fighter who gave the safety valve theory for Indian National Congress in 1916 in a daily news paper paper 'Young India'. 

It was said that the INC was started by Viceroy Lord Dufferin with the help of an ex Civil Services member as a 'Safety Valve' against the popular discontent.
