Here the intention of the interviewer is to know that whether you are certified medical assistant or not.

NOTE ::

Before the interview, be sure to check if your certifications are still valid. Remember that the Red Cross’s First Aid/CPR/AED certifications last for only 2 years, so it’s important to set a reminder to get re-certified after 2 years.

Sample Answer ::

First Aid, CPR, and AED training was part of my medical assistant training, and my Red Cross certifications are still valid for 20 more months. I understand that I need to take review courses every two years to get re-certified.

Employers often ask this question to gauge whether you are someone who enjoys your job and wants to perform well on the job. Simply explain what you like, and tell why you find these responsibilities to be rewarding.

Example Answer ::

My favorite part of being a medical assistant is working with different patients who come into the office. I like being the friendly face that patients see when they come back into the exam area. I want patients to enjoy coming into the office, and I want to represent my office well.

- Divide the data into sections

- Add the sections together using 1's complement arithmetic

- Take the complement of the final sum, this is the check sum

Employee Travel and Expense Report (ETER ) / Direct Pay / Unencumbered Goods and Services

- The ETER is examined for compliance with Travel policy by the accounting clerk prior to submission to Accounts payable

- Accounts Payable enters ETER Information into Banner as a Direct pay, generates a Banner invoice number, and records invoice information

- Reimbursement checks for ETERs will be processed within five business days after a completed and correct ETER is received by Accounts payable and scheduled for payment in the payment cycle following.

- ETERs should be submitted within  60 calendar days of incurring the expenses. TEARs submitted for expenses older than two months will not be processed nor reimbursed.

JAD (Joint Application Development) is a methodology that involves the client or end user in the design and development of an application, through a succession of collaborative workshops called JAD sessions.

The JAD approach, in comparison with the more traditional practice, is thought to lead to faster development times and greater client satisfaction, because the client is involved throughout the development process. In comparison, in the traditional approach to systems development, the developer investigates the system requirements and develops an application, with client input consisting of a series of interviews.

By asking this the interviewer wants to know that do you have any touch with ECG or not.

Sample Answer :

ECG is nothing but a Electrocardiogram. Yes, i performed ECG test to some patients when i worked as an intern at a named cardiologist.

ECG procedure, or an ECG scan, an ECG test measures the electrical activity of the heart to ensure that it is functioning properly. To perform an electrocardiogram an ECG monitor is required. An ECG monitor, device or machine is required to perform an electrocardiogram and provide insight into whether your heart is working normally or not.

The intention of the interviewer by asking this question is to know how much experience candidates have as a medical assistant. They may have just finished their training and only have internship experience, so will need to decide if they are a good fit for you in other ways.

Sample Answer Example:

I have served as an intern as past of my medical assistant program. I just completed my program in June, and at the conclusion of my year of training, I was placed in a pediatrician's office as an intern. I shadowed and worked with the other medical assistants in the office, and I can say my time there really reaffirmed my belief that this is the right profession for me.
