Given S = 17 yrs

A = 16 yrs

B = 12 yrs

Average = 17 + 16 + 12/3 = 15 yrs

Given if Aslam added to them, their average increases by 5

=> Average of 4 members = 20

Let the age of Aslam be 'x'

Then, 

17 + 16 + 12 + x /4 = 20

=> x = 80 - 45

=> x = 35. 

Hence, the age of Aslam is 35 yrs.

    Quantity  X  Rate =  Price

         1  x  1  =  1

       0.7 x 1.25 = 0.875

      Decrease in price = (1-0.875) x 100 = 12.5%

A Committee of 5 persons is to be formed from 6 gentlemen and 4 ladies by taking. 

(i) 1 lady out of 4 and 4 gentlemen out of 6 

(ii) 2 ladies out of 4 and 3 gentlemen out of 6 

(iii) 3 ladies out of 4 and 2 gentlemen out of 6 

(iv) 4 ladies out of 4 and 1 gentlemen out of 6 

In case I the number of ways = C14×C46 = 4 x 15 = 60 

In case II the number of ways = C24×C36 = 6 x 20 = 120 

In case III the number of ways = C34×C26 = 4 x 15 = 60

In case IV the number of ways = C44×C16 = 1 x 6 = 6 

Hence, the required number of ways = 60 + 120 + 60 + 6 = 246

He sold 4 cycles for Rs. 8400
[It means each cycle price is Rs. 2100]
And again he sold 3 cycles for Rs. 1900 each
If he want to gain avg profit on each cycle is Rs. 320 per cycle.
So profit for 10 cycles is @ Rs.320 is,
10 x 320 = Rs. 3200
He already got Rs. 1850 profit by selling 7 cycles.
Now, remaining amount is 3200 - 1850 = 1350
So from remaining 3 cycles we want to get Rs. 1350 profit ,

Let the 1 day work of a boy=b and a girl=g, then
2b + g = 1/5 ---(i) and
b + 2g = 1/6 ---(ii)
On solving (i) & (ii), b=7/90, g=2/45
As payment of work will be in proportion to capacity of work and a boy is paid $ 28/week,
so a girl will be paid 28×245790 = 16 $.

 This should be less than 2.5 or (x+y)>120 

Since       y= 3x/2  =>  y > 72

This (y>72) is greater than 67.5 km/h and hence Shahrukh will always overtake Ajay before he meets Kajol.
