 82.5100 x 2360 = 0.825 x 2360 = 1947

Now, the rate at which the waste tap can empty the tank = (40 + 60)8/32 = 100/4 = 25 lit/min.

Given, Manideep purchases 30kg of barley at the rate of 11.50/kg nad 20kg at the rate of 14.25/kg.

Total cost of the mixture of barley = (30 x 11.50) + (20 x 14.25)

=> Total cost of the mixture = Rs. 630

Total kgs of the mixture = 30 + 20 = 50kg

Cost of mixture/kg = 630/50 = 12.6/kg

To make 30% of profit

=> Selling price for manideep = 12.6 + 30% x 12.6

=> Selling price for manideep = 12.6 + 3.78 = 16.38/kg.

Let the second & third numbers are 2x & 3x respectively.
ATQ,
5x*6x = 4320
30*x*x = 4320
x*x = 144
x=12
Hence, second number = 5x = 5*12 = 60
Third number = 6x = 6*12 = 72
Ratio of first & second number = ¾
Hence, first number = ( ¾)*60 = 45
Sum of these 3 numbers = 60+72+45 = 177

The following arrangements satisfy all 3 conditions.

Arrangement 1: 3 books in a row; 12 rows.

Arrangement 2: 4 books in a row; 9 rows.
Arrangement 3: 6 books in a row; 6 rows.
Arrangement 4: 9 books in a row; 4 rows.
Arrangement 5: 12 books in a row; 3 rows.

J/K = NR/100 K/L = NR/100

These two events cannot be disjoint because P(K) + P(L) > 1.

P(AꓴB) = P(A) + P(B) - P(AꓵB).

An event is disjoint if P(A ꓵ B) = 0. If K and L are disjoint P(K ꓴ L) = 0.8 + 0.6 = 1.4
