These two events cannot be disjoint because P(K) + P(L) > 1.

We know 60 min = 1 hr
Total northward Laxmi's distance = 20kmph x 1hr = 20 km
Total southward Prasanna's distance = 30kmph x 1hr = 30 km
Total distance between Prasanna and Laxmi is = 20 + 30 = 50 km.

Two painters can complete two rooms in two hours.So 18 rooms can be painted in 6 hrs by 6 painters

Let the second & third numbers are 2x & 3x respectively.
ATQ,
5x*6x = 4320
30*x*x = 4320
x*x = 144
x=12
Hence, second number = 5x = 5*12 = 60
Third number = 6x = 6*12 = 72
Ratio of first & second number = ¾
Hence, first number = ( ¾)*60 = 45
Sum of these 3 numbers = 60+72+45 = 177

A : B = 100 : 80.

A : C = 100 : 72.

B:C = B/A*A/C = 80/10*100/72 = 10/9 = 100/90 = 100:90

=> 1201-121203 = 120 x 0.9 x 0.9 x 0.9 = 87.48 lit.

r = (100 x I)/(P x T)

Given 10 men take 15 days to complete a work

=> Total mandays = 15 x 10 = 150

Let the work be 150 mandays.

=> Now 37 men can do 150 mandays in 150/37 =~ 4 days
