Endocrine glands are glands of the endocrine system that secrete their products, hormones, directly into the blood rather than through a duct.

The major glands of the endocrine system include:

pineal gland,

pancreas,

ovaries,

testes,

thyroid gland,

parathyroid gland,

hypothalamus and

adrenal glands.
