3, 7, 6, 5, 9, 3, 12, 1, 15, ... has two different series

1) 3, 6, 9, 12, 15.....

2) 7, 5, 3, 1, .....

-1 is the next number.

Given series is 372, 823, 644, 582, 46?, 8?7

Here the series follow the rule that :
372 = 3+7+2 = 12
823 = 8+2+3 = 13
644 = 6+4+4 = 14
582 = 5+8+2 = 15
46? = 4+6+? = 16 => ? = 6
8?7 = 8+?+7 = 17 => ? = 2

So the missing numbers are 6 and 2

Here the given number series is 5  11  21  44  ?  175

Now the given series follows a pattern, that

x2 + 1, x2 - 1, x2 + 2, x2 - 2, x2 + 3, x2 - 3,...

Then the missing number is x2 - 2

= 44 x 2 - 2 = 88 - 2 = 86

Hence, the missing number in the number series is 86.

The given number series 9, 19, 21, 43, 45, ... follows a pattern that

ALternately (x 2 + 1) and  (x 1 + 2)
