Alluvial type of soil has the largest area covered in India. Alluvial soils are fine-grained fertile soil deposited by water flowing over flood plains or in river beds. Most of the soil is Sandy and clayey soils are not uncommon.

Plants are producers, which means they make their own food. Chloroplasts are organelles found in eukaryotic and plant cells that conduct photosynthesis. Chloroplasts absorb sunlight and use it in conjunction with water and carbon dioxide gas to produce food for the plant.

Plants use energy from sunlight to help make their food, but they need chloroplasts to do it.

Hence, in plants, chloroplasts are necessary for Photosynthesis.

In the process of photosynthesis, plants need the sun's energy, water to make food for themselves in the form of ATP ( adenosine triphosphate ) , which is packages of energy.

Carbon :

coming into the plants ( or algae ) along with water make those ATP into a bigger molecule, which is know as glucose.

Formula: 6 CO2 + 6 H2O + Suns Energy -> glucose + oxygen

Photosynthesis has an affect on the carbon cycle because it reduces the amount of CO2 in the air and redirects it into sugars which feeds animals as well as humans.

Hence, Photosynthesis removes CO2 from the atmosphere and replaces it with O2.

A fossil is a traces or remainings of plants and animals that lived in the past. The fossil record provides evidence of a common ancestor to many species is the option that best describes the fossil record.

An eclipse happens when a planet or a moon gets in the way of the sun's light. Our planet Earth experiances two types of eclipses. They are Solar and Lunar eclipses.

Solar Eclipse : This occurs when The Sun, the Moon and the Earth are in a straight line. The moon being in middle blocks sun rays falling on the Earth.

Lunar Eclipse : The Sun, the Earth and the Moon are in a straight line. The Earth being in middle and moon in the shadow of Earth behind it.
